Lakeshore West is the longest of GO's rail corridors, running from Union Station through Toronto's west end, Mississauga, Oakville, Burlington, and Hamilton, before continuing on to St. Catharines and terminating at Niagara Falls, 16 stations in total. Like Lakeshore East, it runs all day in both directions rather than only at peak hours: service holds around every 30 minutes through midday and evening, tightening to roughly 10 minutes during the evening rush. Weekday trains start at 4:52 a.m., among the earliest on the GO network, and weekend service begins later at 7:07 a.m. Stops along the way include Exhibition, near Liberty Village and BMO Field, and Hamilton GO Centre downtown, giving the corridor real range, from a Toronto commute to a cross-region trip toward Niagara. Reroute plans a Lakeshore West trip against driving the same distance, since for the longer stretches of this line the two can be surprisingly close.
