About Reroute

We got tired of checking four apps to cross one city.

Reroute is one ranked answer to a question every the GTA commuter asks twice a day: what is actually the best way there, right now.

Built by riders who were tired of four apps.

In February 2026 six of us built the first version of Reroute in one weekend. It was called FluxRoute then. We kept going because every one of us was juggling four apps to get across the city: the schedule said one thing, the platform said another, and no app would tell you when driving to a GO station beat the subway.

  • We kept building after the weekend was over.
  • In July 2026 we incorporated as Reroute Technologies Inc, in Ontario.
  • Still six people. Still Toronto.

The name changed. The problem didn't.

What we believe

  1. The trip, not the mode

    You are not choosing between transit and driving. You are choosing how to get somewhere. Reroute ranks every way, including the ones that mix.

  2. Straight answers

    When a line is risky we say so in plain words. We never dress up a guess as a number.

  3. No agency favourites

    Reroute is independent. When driving wins, it says driving. When it cannot see a line, it says that too.

These are rules we hold ourselves to, in writing, in the code.

A heads-up, not a percentageDelays

Our model is trained on 393,303 real TTC delay records from 2022 to 2025. It flags lines having a bad day. It does not claim to know that your trip will be late.

What we're building next.

We ship in public. This is what is actually on the board.

  1. Out of beta

    Reroute is live across the GTA on the web. We are tuning it with every trip riders plan, and the beta label comes off when that work is done.

  2. More of the network

    GTA first. Every agency we add has to earn its place in the ranking, not just appear on the map.

  3. Native apps, November 2026

    iPhone and Android are coming. Until then Reroute runs in your browser.
