Hamilton GO Centre sits in downtown Hamilton on the Lakeshore West line, between Aldershot and West Harbour, at the far western reach of the corridor before it continues on toward St. Catharines and Niagara Falls. Service here runs weekdays only, with trains between 5:47 a.m. and 7:06 p.m. and no scheduled weekend rail. That makes it a commuter-hours station rather than an anytime option, reflecting how much thinner service gets the further the Lakeshore West line stretches from Union. Being downtown, the station itself is more walkable than many of the suburban stops closer to Toronto, sitting near Hamilton's core rather than surrounded by highway interchanges, even though the weekday-only schedule limits when that walkability is actually useful.
