Mimico station is in the Mimico neighbourhood of south Etobicoke, right along the Lake Ontario shoreline, on GO Transit's Lakeshore West line between Exhibition and Long Branch. It's one of the closer-in stops on a corridor that eventually stretches all the way to Niagara Falls, so trains through Mimico are frequent, the Lakeshore West line is one of GO's busiest and runs close to every half hour for much of the day. Unlike most GO stations, Mimico isn't currently wheelchair accessible, which is worth knowing if that matters for your trip. From here, trains run southeast into Union Station in a matter of minutes, or continue west through Long Branch, Port Credit, and Oakville toward Hamilton and Niagara.
