Aldershot sits at the edge of Burlington, close to the Hamilton boundary, on the Lakeshore West line between Burlington and Hamilton GO Centre. It's an early stop for anyone starting a westbound trip further out toward Niagara, and one of the earliest departures on the whole corridor, with weekday service beginning at 4:52 a.m. Weekend trains start later, around 7:36 a.m., and both schedules run past midnight into the small hours. Reroute treats Aldershot the same way it treats any other GO stop along this stretch: as one option among driving and transit alternatives for a Burlington-to-Toronto trip, ranked on actual travel time rather than assumed by default because it's the nearest station.
