Port Credit station serves the Port Credit neighbourhood of Mississauga, on GO Transit's Lakeshore West line between Long Branch and Clarkson. Port Credit sits right at the mouth of the Credit River where it meets Lake Ontario, and the neighbourhood has grown into one of Mississauga's more walkable, waterfront-oriented areas in recent years. The station is wheelchair accessible. Lakeshore West is one of GO's busiest corridors, with trains running roughly every half hour through much of the day, so Port Credit riders generally have a fairly predictable schedule to work with. From here, trains run east through Long Branch and Mimico into Union Station, or continue west toward Clarkson, Oakville, and on to Hamilton and the Niagara region.
