Line 2 Bloor-Danforth runs the long crosstown route the TTC subway is built around, a mostly straight line from Kipling in Etobicoke to Kennedy in Scarborough, crossing Line 1 twice along the way at St George and Bloor-Yonge. Its 31 stations cover some of Toronto's most varied neighbourhoods, from the Kingsway and Bloor West Village in the west, through the Annex, downtown's northern edge, and Greektown, out to the residential streets along Scarborough's western border. Service runs every 2 to 5 minutes through the day, tightest at morning rush, and the line's overall delay-incident rate sits close to the system-wide baseline, neither a standout for reliability problems nor a particularly quiet line. At Kennedy it connects to Line 5 Eglinton, extending the reach of Bloor-Danforth riders further into Scarborough without needing a bus to get there.
