Kipling marks the western terminus of Line 2, and it's a genuine multimodal hub, connecting the subway directly to GO Transit's rail corridor as well as a large surface bus terminal serving Etobicoke and beyond. It's the last stop heading west on the Bloor-Danforth line, one stop past Islington, and the station is built around that transfer role rather than serving a dense immediate neighbourhood the way stops closer to downtown do.
