Castle Frank is a Line 2 station perched at the edge of the Don Valley, just west of the Bloor Viaduct and close enough to the ravine that the walk out of the station drops you almost straight into the trail network below. It sits between Broadview and Sherbourne, without a second line to transfer to, and the surrounding streets are mostly Rosedale's quieter southern edge rather than a commercial strip. That ravine access is really the standout feature here: few other Line 2 stations put riders this close to green space within a couple of minutes of leaving the platform. For anyone routing a trip that ends near the valley trails or Riverdale Park, Reroute will usually surface Castle Frank as the closest subway option even when a station further along the line looks marginally faster on paper.

Delay risk

Line 2 Bloor–Danforth's incident rate runs about 1.0× the GTA-wide baseline, built from public TTC delay history — a comparison of incident rates, not the odds your specific trip is delayed.
