Scarborough station sits in the district it's named for, on GO Transit's Lakeshore East line between Eglinton and Guildwood. Despite the name, it isn't the only GO stop in Scarborough, Danforth, Eglinton, Guildwood, and Rouge Hill are all in the same district, but this one carries the name most directly. The station is wheelchair accessible. Lakeshore East is one of GO's more frequent corridors, with trains running roughly every half hour through much of the day, making it a practical alternative to driving the Gardiner or the 401 into downtown. From here, trains run southwest through Danforth into Union Station in well under half an hour, or continue east toward Pickering, Ajax, and Durham Region. Reroute plans that trip against driving the Gardiner or the 401 for the same route, so the faster option is obvious before you set out.
