The Milton line is GO Transit's most rush-hour-focused corridor, running from Union Station through Etobicoke and Mississauga to the town of Milton. Nine stops make the trip: Union, Kipling, Dixie, Cooksville, Erindale, Streetsville, Meadowvale, Lisgar, and Milton. It's built around the weekday commute rather than all-day travel, weekday service starts around 6 a.m. and the last train out of Milton leaves before 8:30 p.m., and there's no rail service at all on weekends. Trains run roughly every 15 minutes through the evening peak, when demand into and out of downtown is heaviest, and less frequently the rest of the day. At Union, Milton line trains connect to every other GO corridor, the TTC subway network, and UP Express, so most Milton line riders are continuing on to somewhere else in the city once they arrive.
