Guildwood serves the Guildwood neighbourhood of Scarborough, on the Lakeshore East line between Eglinton and Rouge Hill, in the stretch of the corridor running along Scarborough's southern edge. Weekday trains start at 5:35 a.m. and run past midnight into the next day; weekend service begins later, at 8:12 a.m. Guildwood is a longstanding residential community near the Scarborough Bluffs, and the station draws a mix of riders walking in from nearby streets and others driving from further inland. Reroute compares Guildwood against the neighbouring Eglinton and Rouge Hill stops when planning a trip through this part of Scarborough, since the fastest option often depends on exactly where in the neighbourhood a rider is starting from.
