Rouge Hill station is in the eastern end of Scarborough, near the Rouge River, on GO Transit's Lakeshore East line between Guildwood and Pickering. It's one of the last stops fully within Toronto before the line crosses into Durham Region at Pickering. The station is wheelchair accessible. Lakeshore East runs frequently through this part of the corridor, with trains roughly every half hour for much of the day, so Rouge Hill works well both for Scarborough residents heading downtown and for commuters further east using it as an intermediate stop. From here, trains run west through Guildwood, Eglinton, and Danforth into Union Station, or continue east toward Pickering, Ajax, Whitby, and Oshawa.
