Stouffville station is in the town of Whitchurch-Stouffville, on GO Transit's Stouffville line between Mount Joy and Old Elm, one stop short of the line's northern terminus. The line takes its name from this town, even though the actual end of the corridor is a little further north at Old Elm. Stouffville line service runs seven days a week, weekday trains start just after 5 a.m., and weekend departures begin around 7 a.m., both continuing well past midnight. The station is wheelchair accessible. From here, trains run southwest through Markham, Unionville, and Scarborough into Union Station, or continue the short distance north to Old Elm, so most riders through Stouffville are headed into the city rather than further out.
