Union is the downtown terminus of UP Express and the busiest station on the line by a wide margin, since it's also where every GO Transit corridor, the TTC subway, and VIA Rail's intercity trains converge. UP Express operates from its own dedicated platform within the Union complex, separate from the GO concourse. Trains to Pearson leave roughly every 15 minutes throughout the day, from before 5 a.m. on weekdays until past 1 a.m., with a slightly later start on weekends. For anyone arriving downtown from elsewhere in the GO or TTC network, Union is where an airport trip actually begins, the UP Express platform is a short walk from wherever else in the station you're coming from. Reroute plans that whole connection, GO or TTC into UP Express, as a single itinerary rather than two separate trips.
