Queen station sits at Yonge and Queen, between TMU and King on Line 1, right in the middle of the downtown shopping core with the Eaton Centre spanning several blocks above and Nathan Phillips Square and City Hall just to the west. It's one of the busiest stretches of the whole network, drawing shoppers, office workers, and anyone cutting through the underground PATH system that links to the surrounding towers. The station itself is a straightforward island platform, unremarkable compared to some of its neighbours, but its location makes it one of the more useful downtown stops regardless of what happens to be nearby. Reroute treats Queen as interchangeable with King and TMU for many downtown trips, picking whichever leaves the shortest walk to the actual destination.
