Museum station sits beneath Avenue Road just south of Bloor Street, tucked against the Royal Ontario Museum on Line 1 between Queen's Park and St George. It's best known for a renovation that dressed the platform's columns in a pastiche of world architecture, styles echoing different museum cultures from floor to floor, turning a plain concrete box into a small preview of what's upstairs. The station isn't wheelchair accessible, so anyone needing step-free access should plan around St George or Queen's Park instead. Above ground it's steps from Philosopher's Walk and the cluster of university museums, more a cultural landmark stop than a busy transfer point. Reroute flags the accessibility gap automatically whenever it plans a route through here, so it's never a surprise on arrival.

Delay risk

Line 1 Yonge–University's incident rate runs about 1.4× the GTA-wide baseline, built from public TTC delay history — a comparison of incident rates, not the odds your specific trip is delayed.
