Davisville is a Line 1 station in the Davisville Village neighbourhood, sitting between Eglinton and St Clair in Midtown, and it does more work than its modest platform suggests. Davisville Yard, the TTC's main subway car maintenance and storage facility, sits just north of the station, which is part of why some Line 1 trains start and end their runs here rather than further up the line. Above ground, the area is a fairly dense stretch of mid-rise apartments and small commercial strips along Yonge Street. Reroute uses Davisville the way any Line 1 rider would, as a straightforward midtown stop, though anyone curious why they occasionally see a train signed to Davisville instead of Finch is looking at the yard's influence on service patterns.

Delay risk

Line 1 Yonge–University's incident rate runs about 1.4× the GTA-wide baseline, built from public TTC delay history — a comparison of incident rates, not the odds your specific trip is delayed.
