Mount Pleasant station serves the Mount Pleasant neighbourhood in Brampton, on GO Transit's Kitchener line between Brampton Innovation District and Georgetown. It's one of the newer additions to the corridor, built to serve a master-planned community in the west end of Brampton that grew up specifically around the GO line. The station is wheelchair accessible. Kitchener line trains through Mount Pleasant run all the way from Union Station out to Kitchener and Stratford, so depending on the time of day, a train from here might be headed straight downtown or continuing much further west into rural southwestern Ontario. It's a useful anchor for anyone commuting between Brampton and the city without wanting to drive the 401 or the 407 corridor.
