Don Mills marks the eastern end of Line 4 Sheppard, the short subway line that connects across from Sheppard-Yonge to this terminus near Don Mills Road. It's the last stop for anyone riding east on Line 4, and because the line only has a handful of stations, Don Mills tends to see a fairly predictable, unhurried flow of riders rather than the surges typical of a busier interchange. The surrounding area is mostly office buildings and residential towers set along Sheppard Avenue East, without much foot traffic drawn from outside the immediate neighbourhood. For trips that don't actually need to detour through Sheppard-Yonge first, a direct bus route along Sheppard can sometimes beat riding the full length of Line 4 down to its terminus.

Delay risk

Line 4 Sheppard's incident rate runs about 0.1× the GTA-wide baseline, built from public TTC delay history — a comparison of incident rates, not the odds your specific trip is delayed.
