Malton station serves the Malton neighbourhood in northeast Mississauga, close to Toronto Pearson Airport, on GO Transit's Kitchener line. It sits between Etobicoke North and Bramalea, roughly in the middle of the stretch of track that carries the line out toward Brampton and Guelph before it eventually reaches Kitchener. Malton itself is one of the older communities in this part of the GTA, built up around the airport and the industrial corridor that grew alongside it. The station is wheelchair accessible. From Malton, Kitchener line trains run both into Union Station downtown and out toward Bramalea, Georgetown, and the western reaches of the corridor, so it works as a stop for commuters heading either direction.
