Bloomington is the northern terminus of the Richmond Hill line, the end of the corridor after Gormley, sitting near the Richmond Hill and Whitchurch-Stouffville boundary. This is a weekday-only rail station: trains run from 5:53 a.m. to 7:49 p.m. on weekdays, and there is no scheduled weekend GO train service on this stretch of track. That makes Bloomington one of the more limited stations in the GO network for anyone hoping to use it outside a typical commuting window, since the line simply doesn't run trains here on Saturdays or Sundays. Riders planning a weekend trip through this area need an alternative, whether that's driving or a connecting bus service, rather than counting on the train.
