Woodbine station sits at Woodbine Avenue and Danforth Avenue, between Coxwell and Main Street on Line 2, a short walk north of Woodbine Park and the edge of the Beaches neighbourhood that stretches down to the lake. The immediate area around the station mixes older houses with the shops along Danforth, and it's a common jumping-off point for anyone heading south toward the boardwalk rather than staying in the blocks right around the platform. It's a fairly standard mid-line stop otherwise, without a major transfer or landmark, serving local bus routes and the surrounding residential streets. Reroute often routes trips ending near the Beaches through Woodbine, weighing the walk south against nearby bus connections depending on the exact destination in mind.
