Warden station sits along Warden Avenue between Victoria Park and Kennedy on Line 2, in a mostly residential and light-industrial pocket of Scarborough. Like Victoria Park next door, it works as a bus terminal more than a walkable destination, gathering routes from the surrounding streets and feeding them onto the subway for the ride into downtown Toronto. The station's straightforward, functional design matches its role, built to move people quickly between bus and train rather than to anchor a commercial strip. It's one stop short of Kennedy, where Line 2 ends and connects to Line 5 Eglinton, so Warden often serves as a quieter alternative for anyone whose destination sits closer to this end of the line. Reroute plans through it as part of the eastern stretch of Bloor-Danforth.
