Victoria Park station sits at Victoria Park Avenue, between Main Street and Warden on Line 2, marking one of the traditional boundary points between Toronto's old east end and Scarborough. It functions as a significant bus terminal, with routes fanning out across Scarborough's wider, more suburban street grid, since the subway itself doesn't reach much further east than Kennedy. The station's design reflects that role, built with a large bus loop and multiple platforms to handle the volume of transfers rather than any retail development around it. For a lot of Scarborough residents, Victoria Park or the next stop at Warden is the closest point where local buses meet the subway. Reroute treats it as a transfer point for bus-to-subway trips heading into Scarborough.
