St Clair station sits at Yonge Street and St Clair Avenue, between Davisville and Summerhill on Line 1, in a stretch of midtown known for its mix of older apartment buildings and the shops that line Yonge north of the Rosedale ravines. It's a fairly standard stop on the Yonge corridor, without a major connection or landmark, serving the surrounding residential towers and the businesses along St Clair itself. Buses running east and west along St Clair Avenue connect from here toward the streetcar line further west at St Clair West, though the two stations aren't directly linked underground. Reroute plans through St Clair as part of the Yonge spine, a straightforward stop for anyone living or working in this part of midtown Toronto.
