Rosedale station sits at Yonge Street and Crescent Road, between Summerhill and Bloor-Yonge, at the southern edge of one of Toronto's oldest and wealthiest residential neighbourhoods, laid out around the ravines that still wind through the area today. The station itself is modest, a plain concrete box that predates the more polished stops added in later decades, and it mostly serves the low-density streets of Rosedale rather than any commercial strip. It sits close enough to the Rosedale Valley ravine system that a short walk from the platform can feel like leaving the city entirely. Reroute plans through Rosedale on the Yonge corridor between Bloor-Yonge and Summerhill, useful mainly for residents rather than a stop most visitors would pick on purpose.
