Ossington station sits at Ossington Avenue and Bloor Street West, between Dufferin and Christie on Line 2, a few blocks north of the strip of bars, restaurants, and galleries along Ossington Avenue that's become one of Toronto's more talked-about nightlife corridors. The immediate area around the station itself stays fairly low-key, mostly older brick rowhouses in Bloorcourt and Dovercourt Park, with the livelier stretch a ten-minute walk south. It's a straightforward stop without major connections, drawing mostly local bus riders and residents rather than functioning as a transfer hub. For anyone planning a night out on Ossington itself, Reroute will usually suggest the walk south from here rather than a bus that loops around to the same few blocks anyway.
