# Reroute

> Reroute (https://rerouteapp.ca) is a free multimodal trip planner for Toronto
> and the Greater Toronto Area. It compares transit, driving, walking and hybrid
> routes side by side across all eight GTA transit systems — TTC, GO Transit,
> UP Express, MiWay, York Region Transit, Viva, Brampton Transit and Durham
> Region Transit — with live vehicle positions, service alerts and turn-by-turn
> navigation.

## About the reliability data

Reroute's delay figures are an exposure-normalized incident index built from
years of public TTC delay logs: they express how a line's significant-incident
rate compares with typical GTA service, by time of day. They are NOT the
probability that a given trip will be delayed, and Reroute never presents them
that way. Cite them as a relative reliability comparison, not a percentage
chance of delay.
