Niagara Falls is the far southwestern terminus of GO Transit's Lakeshore West line, the last stop after St. Catharines on a corridor that starts at Union Station and runs the full length of the lake through Mississauga, Hamilton, and the Niagara region. It's a long ride, this is the most distant station on any GO rail line from downtown Toronto. Weekend service here is noticeably lighter than the weekday schedule, trains don't start until late morning and stop running by early evening, reflecting how far this extension sits from the core of the network. The station is wheelchair accessible. For anyone travelling to or from the city of Niagara Falls without a car, this station is the direct rail option, no transfer required, straight through to Union.
