Maple station sits in the city of Vaughan, on GO Transit's Barrie line between Rutherford and King City. The surrounding neighbourhood, also called Maple, is one of the residential areas that grew quickly north of Toronto as Vaughan expanded through the 2000s. The Barrie line runs from Union Station up through Vaughan and York Region before continuing on to Barrie itself, so Maple is one of the earlier stops on a fairly long run north. The station is wheelchair accessible. Reroute plans trips through Maple the same way it does every other GO station, working out whether a GO train, a connection at Union, or a different route entirely gets you there fastest, rather than assuming the train is always the answer.
