Langstaff sits near the Richmond Hill and Markham border on the Richmond Hill line, between Old Cummer and Richmond Hill station, close to the Yonge and Highway 7 corridor. Like the rest of this line, service runs weekdays only, with trains operating from 6:15 a.m. to 7:25 p.m. and no scheduled weekend rail. That limited window puts Langstaff in the same category as the Milton line's stations, useful for a standard weekday commute but not something to rely on for a weekend trip.
