Georgetown serves the Georgetown community within Halton Hills, on the Kitchener line between Mount Pleasant and Acton, roughly a third of the way from Union toward Kitchener. Weekday trains start at 5:34 a.m. and run until 11:36 p.m.; weekend service begins later, around 8:37 a.m., with a similarly later finish before midnight. Georgetown's station has long served as one of the corridor's key stops for Halton Hills commuters, sitting close enough to the town's older core that some riders arrive on foot while others drive in from surrounding rural roads. It's a useful anchor point for anyone comparing a GO trip against driving the whole way into Toronto along this stretch of the corridor.
