Burlington GO sits close to the city's downtown core, on the Lakeshore West line between Appleby and Aldershot, making it one of the more walkable stations on this stretch of the corridor compared to some of its more park-and-ride-oriented neighbours. Weekday trains start early, at 4:59 a.m., and run past midnight into the next day; weekend service begins later, around 7:42 a.m. Burlington's downtown position means the station draws a mix of riders arriving on foot from nearby streets and others driving in from further out in the city, rather than functioning purely as a highway-adjacent park-and-ride stop the way some GO stations further from a city centre tend to.
