Aurora is a York Region stop on the Barrie line, between King City and Newmarket, serving one of the corridor's more established commuter suburbs north of Toronto. Weekday trains run from 5:38 a.m. until 11:45 p.m., and weekend service is available too, starting a bit later at 7:52 a.m. and finishing around the same time in the evening. Aurora's schedule doesn't stretch into the overnight hours the way some Barrie line stops further south do, since both the weekday and weekend service windows wrap up before midnight rather than after. The station is accessible, and like most stops on this stretch of the line, it draws riders arriving by car or local bus rather than on foot.
